Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This policy covers data processing when you browse sr4mac.com. It does not replace the app’s privacy disclosures or Apple’s terms. This site provides purchase verification, tutorials, and setup guidance; it does not provide proxy services.

1. Scope and Information You Submit

This site uses static pages and has no user registration, sign-in, email signup, or online configuration submission forms. You can read the manual without providing your name, phone number, payment information, or Apple Account details. This site does not receive, store, or manage your subscription links, server passwords, or configuration keys.

Do not include this information in page addresses or link parameters, where it could be sent with a visit request and appear in logs. Get subscription links from your service provider and follow the instructions in the app. A one-time app purchase is not a service plan: buying the app and using a provider’s connection service are separate matters.

2. Visit Data and Analytics

When a page loads, your browser sends necessary requests to the site’s hosting infrastructure. Related technical logs may include your IP address, visit time, request path, response status, referring page, and browser type. They are used to serve pages, identify unusual requests, and keep the site running. These logs are not the same as connection logs in Shadowrocket.

This site uses analytics to understand readership, commonly used device categories, and how well site navigation works. When you click the App Store button on the purchase verification page, a click event is also recorded to assess whether the store link is easy to find. Click events do not include purchase outcomes, order amounts, or payment details.

Analytics support aggregate analysis and content maintenance; they are not used to infer any individual’s network activity. Simply browsing this site does not give it access to server lists, connection destinations, DNS requests, or traffic content in the app. How long technical logs are retained and when they are cleared depends on the hosting configuration; this policy does not claim a fixed retention period that has not been verified.

3. Cookies and Browser Storage

Depending on the deployment configuration, page functionality and analytics components may use cookies or browser storage to retain a visit-session identifier or necessary page state. This data stays in your current browser. It is not an app account and is not used to store subscriptions, passwords, or payment details.

You can view, restrict, or clear this data in your browser’s site settings. Restricting storage may affect analytics continuity or whether page state is retained, but static page content remains available. Clearing this site’s browser data does not delete App Store purchase records or remove configurations stored in Shadowrocket.

4. App Store and External Services

The App Store is the only place to get Shadowrocket. This site’s purchase and verification guide links to the App Store, and its store button opens Apple’s Shadowrocket product page (opens in a new window). After you leave this site, account verification, payment, purchase restoration, and related data handling are subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policies.

This site cannot access your Apple Account password, payment method, or complete order history. For the app’s data handling, refer to the disclosures on its App Store page and in the app. For data handling by a service provider you already use, consult that provider’s policy; visiting this site does not make the site responsible for that processing.

5. Your Choices and Policy Updates

You can stop visiting this site and manage your cache, cookies, and browser storage in your browser settings. For installation, setup, and common issues, see the tutorials and troubleshooting guide. You do not need to submit personal information or connection credentials to follow the instructions.

If site features, analytics methods, or storage purposes change, this policy will be revised on this page and the “Last updated” month at the top will be updated accordingly. Refer to the current version. If a new feature requires your choice about data processing, the site will also explain how it works and provide a way to manage it.
